Recently, the China Railway Bureau has made significant progress in the Guinea Masi Railway project, marking the official construction of the first track-laying base with the function of rail welding in Guinea.

The project adopts domestic advanced rail welding technology and long rail tractor to carry out mechanized laying, and realizes the direct laying of long rail in Guinea for the first time, demonstrating the scientific and technological strength of Chinese enterprises in railway construction in Guinea. The construction of the track-laying base started, pressing the "fast forward button" for the Guinea-Maci Railway project of China Railway First Bureau, and the track construction started substantively.

The Marsico Railway is the longest modern railway in Guinea in nearly half a century. After the completion of the project, it will strengthen Guinea's position in the world iron ore market, promote the construction of the "Belt and Road" and local economic and social development, and bring benefits to the Guinean people.
